ALTIFORM® - COMPRESSION CLASSES

The Altiform Range is based around three classes of compression:

Class I - Light support.
(Compression at ankle - 14-17mm Hg)

Indications - superficial or early varices, varicosis during pregnancy, swollen or aching legs and ankles. Suitable for long distance travel.

Class1

Class II - Medium support
(Compression at ankle - 18-24 mmHg)

Indications - varices of medium severity, venous leg ulcer treatment and prevention of recurrence, mild oedema, varicosis during pregnancy. Suitable for long distance travel.

Class2

Class III - Strong support
(Compression at ankle - 25-35 mmHg)

Indications - gross varices, post thrombotic venous insufficiency, gross oedema, venous leg ulcer treatment and prevention of recurrence.

Class3

Altiform conforms to Drug Tariff Technical Specification
No.40 for supply on FP 10 prescription
